Grumps Restaurant

I've bought groupon of 4 for Grumps Cafe~
The meal was supposed to be RM218.10 but I got it for RM70~
Before we go to the cafe~ I'm full with anticipation~

Is about 11am when we reached, and no one were in the cafe~
It is a quite cozy feeling cafe with special decoration around~
Photos were snapped after placing our orders~

 Garlic Bread
 Price: RM6 (excluding tax)
Rate: 5/5
This garlic bread is extremely delicious~
The strong fragrance of garlic and the crispiness of the bread~
Totally unforgettable~!!
It goes perfectly with mushroom soup~~ *love*

Cream of Wild Mushroom
 Price: RM10 (excluding tax)
Rate: 5/5
The first sip of the soup triggers your whole taste-buds and your appetite~
Almond flakes added up the overall presentation~
Best matching with garlic bread~~ :D

Olio E Aglio with Bacon
 Price: RM18 (excluding tax)
Rate: 4/5
This dish is just simple and nice~
Just that the olive oil may be a bit too much~
The bacon is just nice but a bit too hard~ XD

Chicken Diavola
 Price: RM20 (excluding tax)
Rate: 3.5/5
Chicken is quite tender and the garlic spice sauce matched quite well with it~

Pork Cordon Bleu
 Price: RM24 (excluding tax)
Rate: 1/5
I would say that this dish is a disappoinment to me~
Although it is filled with various of fillings~
The pork texture is too hard and too dry~
*I was expecting a better cordon bleu*

Fillet of Fish
 Price: RM24 (excluding tax)
Rate: 2/5
Again~ fried~ :( *wrong choice~
I expect it to be special~
It appeared and tasted too dried~

Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream
 Price: RM10 (excluding tax)
Rate: 3.5/5
The chocolate brownie is warm and goes well with the vanilla ice-cream~
Hmm.. if it is more chocolaty~ It will be awesome~ :D

Creme Caramel
Price: RM10 (excluding tax)
Rate: 2/5
It looked very soft and tender~
but it was actually quite solid~
under my expectation~ don't really like it~

As a conclusion, I'm wondering~
Is it that some of the food are indeed not that yummy,
or is it because we used groupon? *Question mark in head*

Anyway..

I don't know what is the requirement to be a tasty crab~
but this crabby with the sauce definitely seduced my tastebud~
The sauce fits perfectly with rice or bun~ :D
p.s. becareful with the shell within the sauce~

Mini Fried Bun (??)

Dragon-i Restaurant

We were attending Amway Convention 2013 in June~
One night before the convention,
we had our lunner* at Dragon-i Restaurant~
*breakfast + lunch = brunch
so~ lunch + dinner = lunner

The shop design and display is simple yet grand and classy~

The menu is also simple in design~

We were served with braised groundnuts~ *extra charges XD*
but this appetizer/snack is superb~
I'm also a peanut lover~
these braised peanuts are well cooked~
the taste stayed on my taste buds making craving for more~

Mum and aunt placed the order while our job (the kids) is to eat XD
Some photos were not snapped~
*too busy eating~~ teeheee~ sorry for that~*

Ramen with Shredded Pork
Price: RM15 (excluding 16% taxes)
Rate: 2.5/5
Hmm.. to me, is just a so so dish~
Not really attracting me in any way~ *sorry bout that*

Sze Chuan Ramen with Fresh Assorted Seafood in Hot & Sour Soup
Price: RM13 (excluding 16% taxes)
Rate: 3/5
I guess their ramens are not my cup of tea~
Although is in hot & sour soup~ I still find it dull~

Shanghainese Steamed Meat Dumplings
Price: RM9.80 (excluding 16% taxes)
Rate: 5/5
Hahahaha~ is not that I bias or what~
but this Shanghainese steamed meat dumpling is a MUST try~!
Super juicy dumplings with tender meat texture~
*don't lose the soup inside the dumplings~~*

Steamed Egg Yolk Custard Bun
Price: RM8 (excluding 16% taxes)
Rate: 5/5
This is another highly recommended dish for Dragon-i~
The bun seems "cool" from the outside~
but don't be fooled from the appearance~
The filling is piping hot and you might get yourself scalded~
The sweetness of the bun is just nice for me~
Totally in love with this bun~ :D

Sumo Onigiri

Thanks to JoinMe~
I'm able to have a free meal at Sumo Onirigi at Kuchai Lama~
It is a small shop,
found opposite Station One Cafe at Kuchai Lama Entrepreneur Park~

It is small yet cozy with cute wallpaper display~
*So cute~~*

In the shop, not much seats are provided~
I guess probably most of the customers will just take away~

We were served with Miso soup and Chawanmushi first~
The soup is super yummy with the strong fragrant aroma~
The Chawanmushi is just nice for me although it has no fillings~
Not too bland nor too salty~

Sumo Takoyaki
Price: RM9.80
Rate: 4/5
When the food is served~ I'm totally amazed~
Neat and nice food presentation~ attractive! :D
The takoyaki is awesome!
Thus it can be share for two if you are not a big eater~

Kimchi Korean Restaurant

I'm a big fan of Korean food~
I'm just crazy in love with the yummy-ness of the foodies~

This is my second time visiting this shop located in Tropicana City Mall~
After saturating our brain with our thesis~
me and my 38 friend decided to have dinner here~

The environment is quite clean and cozy here~
(just that there is a fly keep on disturbing us XD)
We flipped through the menu drooling with all the foodies in it~

Well, you know Korean style is to serve side dishes~
and so here they are~
Top (from right): Pumpkin, Dried Taukan. Bean Sprout thingy
Bottom (from right): Kimchi, vegetables, fish cake
p.s. personally liked the vegetable as it is with fragrant of sesame oil~ :D

Doo Boo ljikeh soup (Seafood)
Price: RM16.8 (excluding 10% service charge)
Rate: 4/5
I always love the whatever soup in Korean style~
I can choose either chicken, beef or seafood for my ingredients~
The tofu is so soft and tender~ simple yet heavenly delicious~
One thing for not rating it 5 over 5 is.. the spiciness did not satisfy my taste bud XD

Sizzling Beef
Price: RM18.8 (excluding 10% service charge)
Rate: 5/5
When it is served, my friend was like O.O!
Because is quite a big portion with loads of beef & salad~
I like the juiciness of the beef~ *yum yum~~*
It is also served with glass noodles and spring onion~
The gravy is just so amazing that it matches perfectly with white rice~ *excited*
p.s. If you aren't a big eater, do share with your friend ;)

Well, to me~ this Korean restaurant ain't that bad~
However, my favorite Korean food restaurant will still be Kimchi & BBQ~
*all time favorite <3*
(will update about it when I finish my thesis writing, stay tuned!!)
Anyway~ worth a try if you are interested :D

Ajisen Ramen

We used to visit Ajisen Ramen near our house for lunch or dinner ~
But after it closed down, it has been a long time since I visit this shop~
We always liked this shop for the big portion and yummy ramen served~
By chance, we had our lunch (after so long time) at Ajisen Ramen in Sunway Pyramid~

We placed our order and started chit-chatting around~
And of course my style~
Snapped some photos for reviews~~ *teeeheee~~*
The quite cozy environment for dining~
Various types of spices are served for customers~
p.s. MUST try the chili flakes~~~ :D
and then our food are served~
Well, to avoid inconveniences, I only snapped my own food~
*please forgive me...*

Hot Plate Chicken Teriyaki Dry Ramen
Price: I forgot XD but above RM11 if not mistaken~
Rate: 3/5
Well, I used to have ramen soup~
But I wanted to try the hot plate dry ramen as it is new to me~
but... hmmm~ is not my cup of tea I guess~
The noodles and chicken are good, just that the sauce is..
a bit salty and nothing special to me~
*I have to high expectation maybe? XD*

Anyway~ the ramen soup is still my favourite for Ajisen Ramen~
Recommended to try~
Their soup is just incredibly yummmmmy~~~~ :D

Hong Kong Kim Gary Restaurant

Well~ Kim Gary is always one of the restaurant that I would like to dine in~
Sometimes I like Hong Kong styled food~
and I don't know why~ XD

Before our beauty classes to Soonye~
We had our dinner at Kim Gary in Aeon Taman Maluri~
As usual~ we were stuck with the menu~
too many choices XD

Well, in the end~ we've ordered the following foodies :D

Fish Fillet Baked Rice with Cheese (set meal)
Price: RM18.9 (excluding taxes)
Rate: 4.5/5
My first time trying out cheese baked rice here~
and is superb~!!
The cheese and fish fillet with white sauce (you can also choose red sauce)
match each other perfectly~ worth trying :D

Supreme Pork Curry with Swiss Cheese
 Price: RM14.9 (excluding taxes)
Rate: 5/5
This is even awesome~
You can choose the curry you want like supreme curry, coconut curry or pineapple curry~
You can have this with spaghetti or rice~ (will recommend rice XD)
When it is served, you can smell the rich curry fragrant from it~
It is so super-duper yummy that you will start to think of having a bowl of rice with the curry~
Must TRY!!!

Boiled Coke with Ginger
Price: RM3.9 (if not mistaken, excluding taxes)
Rate: 4/5
From what I've taste, boiled coke is just like sugar water~
so this is like ginger drink la XD
Not bad as the ginger aroma is not too strong~
Just nice for me~
